Fighting for Public Lands and Decency - LIVE w/Ryan Busse - Wednesday July 16 (8pm ET/5pm PT)
Join guest host Martha Merson for a conversation with Ryan Busse on what it means to lay nice aside in the fight for public lands and decency on IT NEEDS TO BE SAID.
Join us for the next episode of It Needs To Be Said (Wednesday July 16 at 8pm ET/5pm PT) when guest host Martha Merson will talk with Ryan Busse who describes himself as a proud hunter, proud Montanan, and ardent voice for decency.
Ryan Busse was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Montana in 2024. He is a noted Public lands and conservation leader who has served in numerous leadership roles, including as past Chair of Montana Conservation Voters and North American Board Chair of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, advisor to national policy organizations, presidential campaigns, Senate committees, and advisor to the U.S. Departments of Interior and Agriculture.
Busse grew up on a rural cattle ranch, graduated in a class of 16, and spent 25 years in the firearms industry. However, Ryan gave up that award-winning career because he was increasingly troubled by the destructive sources of political radicalization. Since publishing his highly regarded memoir in 2020 (Gunfight: My Battle Against the Industry that Radicalized America), he has become a celebrated and strident critic of right-wing radicalization and a powerful voice for decency and good governance.
Please join us to hear Ryan Busse in conversation with Martha Merson on It Needs to be Said (Wednesday July 16 at 8pm ET/5pm)
