I am excited to see a group move on from the 7 swing states that were the focus in 2024. It's high time Democrats did some serious outreach to unaffiliated or independent voters in Alaska.
Congratulations on a well-written and compelling article. You state in your article that “we’ve come to believe that a far better investment is in longer-term infrastructure, not roads, bridges, etc., but a foundation that provides sustained professional expertise and action and supports candidates up and down the ballot.” I challenge you to broaden your horizons and include long-term infrastructure FUNDING in your reporting, such as H.R. 5356, the National Infrastructure Bank (NIB) Act of 2025. The Coalition for the NIB leadership is available to host Zoom calls with you and any elected officials as we work to increase sponsorships for HR 5356. Republican members of Congress are aware of the NIB but refuse to sign on. Please let me know if I can help facilitate these calls, turn the NIB into a campaign/debate event for candidates up and down the ballot, and make this a win-win! https://www.nibcoalition.com/

Very well argued, Jim, thank you so much.
