Hi, Trina, Canvassing is much scarier to anticipate that it is to do. It's just talking to people, and with proper training it is not only politically productive but it can be fun. (Not the whole time, but there are usually enough "joy snacks" to make it fun. It's also fun to socialize with other canvassers. The listening tour is the easiest kind of canvassing, so it's great practice getting used to talking to strangers.
