I have authored two articles on the Grassroots Connector about We the Seniors, an umbrella group of senior groups and individuals around the country. We've had an amazing response and are looking to recruit more groups to add to the 35 who have already signed up. As one of the Portland Raging Grannies, I welcome any and all who want to join! We do make a difference. The news may lead with what bleeds, but then they need to follow up with something lighter. Video of more destructive protests get shown first, but then the Grannies get some airplay, and now the message has been told twice.
