Honestly, brave are the folks who tried to deliver food to those incarcerated at the Burlington ICE facility and were arrested. Will take the ‘creative’ and say thank-you.
Re: today's flash mob at North Station. We had a fine time and handed out 200 pieces of literature with information on what to do if you witness ICE activity or if you know someone who needs legal help. An hour or so well-spent. I like Judith's song a lot. Whistles and a mic got attention when we were ready to begin. People can't help but be curious. Highly recommend!
Thank you for your ongoing advocacy & creating an effective method for outreach that can expand & adapt! The Boston area is not yet sufficiently engaged & organized, every effort & action is so important!
I believe I saw you decades ago perhaps at the 3 apple storytelling festival - while details have faded it left a very positive impression.
OMG, right you are. The Three Apples was one of the first regional festivals for storytelling…still ‘at it’ as they say. And , yes, we all need to do what we are able to do at this dark time. Arg
We have a Lady Liberty group here in Western Massachusetts (Montague), as well, and have participated in local demonstrations. We made our crowns and torches, and togas, and led singing. The group is Ladies of Liberty. I will try to get the link to our group's video. We are thrilled to learn about other groups doing similar things!!!
Fabulous, and I am in Amherst right now at an artists retreat. Do you have anything coming up in the next couple days. Also, would you like me to forward our info. sheet to you. Am updating it within the next 2 days. JB. storiesalive@gmail.com
I don't have the ability to share our link. I think Jeanne Weintraub (another artist!) may have contacted you already. I forwarded this message to her. We do not have anything planned in the next few days (we haven't done flash mobs, but rather have been part of planned local demonstrations).
What a brave, courageous and creative action!!! And such Love.

PS. You are a powerhouse in subway distribution!
Thank-you Martha!

Please Send me the lady liberty info music and actions we would like to do this here in Oregon!
I sent something, but not sure if it will reach you, as the address seemed convoluted. Send me your contact to: storiesalive@gmail.com

So, our demographic outreach is different, but it’s all needed.
