There must be a better way. I am literally spammed with political texts morning til night. I’m especially annoyed on the rare occasion that I click on a text for information that turns out to be a solicitation for donations. Just texting “Stop” doesn’t solve the problem when you have to do it a dozen plus times a day. I am not text adverse. It is my primary form of communication. I’m just tired of being harassed.
Yeah, I hear you! Hard to know what a good solution is, as campaigns want/need to reach people, and the alternatives (phone calls, door knocks) are even more obtrusive/interrupting. I personally would be more inclined to support a campaign that let me know they were only texting me 1x/week and here's an update vs. bombarding me every day.
The good news for you... only 13 days of texts to go! :->
I’ve been texting for years and totally agree about the community that can evolve. I have friends all over the country now through my volunteer texting with BlackPAC. Some folks find mobilize confusing so always helpful to provide links to specific upcoming campaigns. Many thanks 🙏🏼
